What is Nordica water vending machine?
It’s an automated machine where you can buy any amount of water in bulk. Without a cashier, at an affordable price, and available 24/7. You can pay with cash (banknotes or coins) or by bank card.
Where does Nordica water come from?
Nordica – is water from an underground source, rich in minerals and great in taste. The quality of water in the vending machines is regularly tested in a laboratory, so we guarantee that our water is clean and safe.
What types of containers can be used to fill water?
The compartment fits a 19-liter bottle. For bottles between 3 and 10 liters, there is a special shelf. You can also fill a small bottle or even a cup.
Is the vending machine connected to the water supply?
The vending machine is not connected to the water supply! It is regularly refilled with fresh Nordica water delivered by truck. Even in hot weather, the water inside the machine stays cool.
What is ozonation?
It’s a safe and effective way to eliminate all bacteria. We recommend disinfecting your bottles with ozone every time.
How much does the water cost?
The price of one liter of water at a Nordica vending machine is 1.5 lei
If the machine doesn’t dispense water, what should I do?

What coins and banknotes are accepted for payment?
The machine accepts coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, and 10 lei. Banknotes of 1, 5, 10, 20, and 50 lei are also accepted.
Is it safe to drink the water without boiling it?
Yes, it is safe. Nordica water originates from a picturesque spring in the north of the country, at a depth of 150 meters. It travels to the treatment station through pipes made of food-grade stainless steel AISI 316, the same material used in the aerospace industry. During treatment, the mineral content of the drinking water is optimized using a filtration system. The water is then delivered to Nordica vending machines in specialized sterile containers by our delivery team.
Where are the water tests conducted?
We have our own laboratory, ranked among the top three in Europe. The springs are monitored monthly, the water treatment station is checked monthly, and the bottling lines are inspected daily. All testing is carried out in both chemical and microbiological laboratories.
Is ozonation harmful?
Ozonation is the process of cleaning and disinfecting your container to eliminate bacteria and viruses, ensuring high-quality water. After ozonation, you may notice a slight change in the taste or smell of the water, and that’s completely normal! To remove the odor, we recommend opening the bottle for a few minutes before use. Ozonation is safe, effective and free 🙂
Who refills the vending machines and how?
Water for Nordica machines is delivered by a special truck to ensure the highest water quality. Each vending machine has a 3000-liter tank. Every week, the water in Nordica machines is tested in a laboratory to ensure it retains its beneficial properties and remains high quality.
